Yalitsa is an interdisciplinary artist and film enthusiast currently living and working in the Atlantic Provinces of Turtle Island. Upon completion of their B.F.A from NSCAD University (2017) Yalitsa began a training program with the National Film Board. Through this opportunity Yalitsa has worked over the last year and a half under the mentorship of professional Sound Recordists Mélanie Gaultier and Andrew Rillie. They've also worked as a Sound Recorder and Sound Designer for T.V (The Big Downsize), short films (Alia, Deema) and various art projects and installations throughout K’jipuktuk (Them Cattle Those Hills - WHEREABOUTS Exhibition)
