Cheska Appave has been an Independent Gaffer and Union (IATSE & NABET) Best Girl and Lamp Operator since 2012 in both Calgary and Toronto. She graduated from the University of Calgary as well as SAIT where she studied Film and Video Production with a focus on Lighting. As of 2017 she works and lives in Toronto, Canada lighting independent features, shorts, music videos and commercials.

Sabrina is a gaffer and grip who has worked on a number of commercials, films, tv series and features in the Toronto and Hamilton area.

To date, I have completed 4 feature films, five episodes of a television show and many short format projects as the gaffer.

A graduate of Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Chelsea Innes has arrived in the indie scene in Toronto with a keen eye for detail and a strong collaborate work ethic. Her ability to light in a variance of styles allows her to approach each shoot with a unique artistic perspective which she is able to clearly articulate to her fellow crew members.

Over the years, I have acquired more and more knowledge and techniques from fellow gaffers and have become very interested in lighting. I am looking to obtain more experience in this position.
