Gilda Pourjabar is a Montreal-based Iranian-Canadian filmmaker/editor. She graduated from Iran University of Science and Technology in 2007 with B.sc degree in Industrial Engineering. In 2011 she obtained her Associate degree in Cinema from Tehran Fine Arts University . She studied Film Production at Concordia University (2012-2015). During her studies she had written and directed six short fiction films. After graduation she has been working as a freelance editor on both fiction and documentary films. Currently, she works on the development process of a documentary film on contemporary Iranian illustration. This film has been partially funded by Société de Développement des Entreprises Culturelles (SODEC) at its development phase.

Laura began shooting and editing video in 2014. Her first assignments were backstage at Ottawa fashion events and interviews of local fashion professionals for a documentary. Growing skills soon gained the attention of Montreal musicians, for live performance and then shooting and editing scripted music videos for artist like ( Yellow Jacket Avenger).
Laura did the studio camera work and all editing for Deja Vu, an experimental short fashion video produced in Toronto in 2016. It has been juried as Official Selection and then as finalist in two fashion film festivals: finalist for Best Canadian video in the Canadian International Fashion Film Festival and then finalist in three categories, including best editing, at the prestigious La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival.

Elian Mikkola is an emerging film editor originally from Finland. They received the Best Technical Achievement award for editing at the SIFA's (SAARI, 2016) and Best Sound design at the Flamingo Film Festival (SAARI, 2016). Mikkola has also gotten several other awards for their films, such as AE Creative Vision Award at the AE Film Festival (2016) and their debut film SAARI was selected to TIFF's Canada's Top Ten film festival in 2017. Kara Blake is an award-winning filmmaker, editor and compositor, who has contributed to projects ranging from films and music videos to live projections and installations. As an editor she has worked with partners such as the National Film Board, CBC, Moment Factory, and a variety of independent producers with a focus on documentary, animation, arts and culture. As a compositor, she has contributed fx to films by Rapide Blanc, Bunbury Films, Unité Centrale and Adobe Productions.
Kara holds an MFA from Concordia University (2005) and is currently a participating media artist in the exhibition Leonard Cohen: A Crack in Everything at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal. Her film The Delian Mode, won both the Genie Award and Hot Docs Award for Best Short Documentary (2009).

Catherine Legault is an award winning documentary film editor. Over the past 12 years, she has worked on several award-winning films that have screened internationally in theaters, festivals and on television. In 2017, she received an IRIS prize for editing La démolition familiale, as well as a Gémeaux prize for 21 jours, and in 2013, a Gémeaux prize for Ma caravane au Québec.
