High school (2012) is where Bailey began her filmmaking education. Taking on a knack for storytelling and applying it into her editing, Bailey pursued a career in film through post production. Taking various workshops at AFCOOP and even editing their "Speak Out" protest videos during the film tax cuts in 2015, along with the 2018 HIFF trailer. Since then, Bailey continued to learn and improve her editing and file management skills during her time in the Screen Arts program at NSCC, where she graduated in June of 2018.
As a recent Screen Arts graduate of Nova Scotia Community College, I've had quite a few opportunities to edit school project. Outside of that I've editeded other pieces using Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro X, 2 have made it into film festivals! (FIN Atlantic International Film Festival, and Devour! The Food Film Festival). I currently work as an editor for a non-profit organization in Halifax.
