KATHRYN HENZLER

Kathryn Henzler is a singer, composer, and recording engineer who also plays piano, viola, harmonica, guitar, koto (a traditional Japanese instrument), taiko and other Japanese percussion, and harp.

She holds a B.A. in East Asian Languages and Cultures, with an emphasis in Japanese from the University of Southern California (2013) and an M.Mus in Music Technology and Digital Media from University of Toronto (2017).

Kathryn specializes in music for short films and animation, having started composing for animation schools in 2009 and branching out to her first live action short film with "Test Stress" in 2014. She currently works with the film group of director Jenica Shivkumar out of Montreal, and two of their films together, "Something Beautiful" (2016) and "Follow That Melody" (2017), have premiered at the Digi60 Film Festival.

Aside from scoring for film, Kathryn writes art songs and music for theatre and performs as a guest member of the Kiri Koto Ensemble.

IVA DELIC

Iva Delic is a Croatian-Canadian composer who writes scores for live-action, documentaries and animations. She works with acoustic and digital instruments and likes to collaborate on story-focused and/or character-driven projects. Recently, Iva has scored a short film "Nana," that was part of a TIFF special program Canada's Top Ten (http://nanashort.ca/) as well as an experimental documentary by Madonna Adib and a feature set to be released in early 2019.

By 2017, she scored 12 feature films (Bite, The Heretics, Bed of The Dead, Antisocial 2, Let Her Out +) commercials (PanAm Games, National Ballet School of Canada, BOSE, Mina Halal), web series, short films and trailers (Anne of Green Gables/Breakthrough Entertainment). JULIJANA HAJDINJAK

Julijana Hajdinjak is a Canadian-Croatian composer, soprano, songwriter, conductor and teacher. Her works have been performed and read across Canada by ensembles including the Laurier Orchestra, the Via Choralis Choir, Choirs for Change, Vera Causa Opera, the University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Arcady, Elektra Women's Choir, George Brown College and the world renowned Penderecki String Quartet. Julijana is also a film composer, and actively works in the film industry on a variety of genres from documentaries to shorts to tv episodes. She has been fascinated by music since the early age of three. Her passion for music is fuelled by her joy of creating and expressing herself. While Julijana received private piano instruction with Cynthia Kaarto, she also attended the Regional Arts Program at Cawthra Park Secondary School where she majored in Voice. Being a member of Cawthra Park's Chamber Choir, under the direction of Bob Anderson, she had the opportunity to perform with Cirque du Soleil numerous times, and even with The Rolling Stones at the Air Canada Centre in 2013. She has graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Music with distinction majoring in Contemporary Music: Composition. She studied composition with Linda Catlin Smith and Glenn Buhr, and was the Teaching Assistant for Buhr's composition course in 2018. Julijana is a member of SOCAN and the Screen Composers Guild of Canada. She is also the founder of Fortepiano Music Studio, her own music school and composition studio.

Evelyne has been composing scores for award winning TV and Film for over 15 years. After receiving her A.R.C.T. in piano performance she studied electronic music at U of T electronic music lab.
She began improvising as an accompanist for Toronto Dance Theatre and later studied improvisation with the late Freddie Stone. Her experience performing as keyboard player/pianist in bands and ensembles with Canadian artists such as Shirley Eikhard, Alannah Myles, The Parachute Club, Hemispheres New Music Orchestra and numerous others has greatly informed her palette as a composer. She composes music for Documentary, Drama, Comedy, and Kids shows which have been broadcast on CBC, W Network, Treehouse, Discovery and others.

Janal Bechthold is a composer for film, TV, games, and interactive media, having worked on numerous scores including horror noir feature Art of Obsession, documentary Gods In Shackles, videogame The Rival Books of Aster, and interactive graphic novels, Dystopia 2153 and 80 Degrees North. Her music for television has been broadcast on CBC/SRC-Radio Canada, CTV, TSN, Discovery, and TV5 international among others! MARIA MOLINARI

Award-winning composer of scores on productions which have aired internationally and have screened at celebrated festivals including Tribeca and the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival. Credits include feature film End of Days, Inc., the title theme for Motives and Murders: Cracking the Case (Investigation Discovery), TV series including Getting Along Famously (CBC), Freaky Stories (YTV) & Backyard Inventors (W Network), & commercials for Maple Leaf Foods and Dairy Farmers of Canada.
Maria’s music has been premiered by the Victoria Symphony Orchestra, the Guelph Symphony Orchestra, and National Ballet of Canada dancer/choreographer Stephanie Hutchison. Her virtuosic work Danza received its debut recording release by the Mathieu-Chua Duo on the Centrediscs Label in 2017. A graduate of the University of Southern California LA Film Scoring Program, Maria studied with icons Elmer Bernstein (To Kill a Mockingbird) Leonard Rosenman (Rebel Without a Cause) and Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3).

ERICA PROCUNIER

Erica Procunier is a Canadian composer for film and other media. Her credits include scores for over forty film, television, theatre, advertisement and video game productions. She was commissioned by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Toronto International Film Festival to compose a live film score for the film DAM! The Story of Kit the Beaver to celebrate Canada’s 150th. Erica recently scored the rowdy CBC comedy series Little Dog created by Joel Thomas Hynes. She scored the misfit comedy Don’t Talk To Irene starring Geena Davis as well as the anxiety ridden drama Mariner, which were both official selections at TIFF. Erica has received two SOCAN Foundation Awards for Young Audio Visual Composers. She is an alumna composer of the Canadian Film Centre’s Slaight Family Music Lab and she holds a Masters of Music Composition from Western University.

MICHELLE OSIS

Michelle Osis is a Toronto-based musician & composer for Film, TV and advertising.
She emigrated from Sydney Australia where she worked as a freelance screen composer, and has composed music on a number of commercials and films, including award-winning films, 'A Little Bit Behind' (dir Paul Slater), 'Let It Rain, and 'Bamboozled' (dir Matt Hardie). More recently, Michelle wrote the music for the feature films The Corporate Coup d'Etat (dir. Fred Peabody) Harpoon (dir. Rob Grant), True Fiction (dir. Braden Croft) She also scored the feature film Juggernaut (dir Daniel DiMarco) where she had the pleasure to work alongside Mark Korven, Neil Parfitt and Grammy award-winning musician Garry Kvistad. Michelle worked as an in-house composer at Eggplant Collective in Toronto and has worked on over 100 commercials. She was also selected as one of the residents at the Canadian Film Centres Slaight Music Residency in 2014 program chaired by Mychael Danna.
